Look mum no hands!

This afternoon was glorious. We had much needed blue skies and sunshine so we headed out to Discovery Park. We had wanted to park down at the beach and play "rocks", but all the parking passes were taken so we had to settle for playing up by the little church. Soon after we arrived at the top of the meadow Zoe and Max wanted to climb the stone wall. They have done this before but with my help but today the were up in a flash then started running along it. It is 3 feet high in places and I wasn't sure it was a good idea as it ran alongside a gravel path, but I decided to just let them do it. A few minutes later they were racing then jumping off. They started at the low end, but got ever braver and in the end were flinging themselves off all over. It was a bit heart stopping but they were having a great time.
After all those shenanigans we got to meet one of the resident park rabbits. There are many semi tame bunnies at Discovery, that were probably released. Max and Zoe loved watching them and gave chase when they decided to move on. It was a fun afternoon and hopefully the start of a few sunny ones to come.
