The sand box

The sand box is an indoor sand volley ball facility in the south end of Seattle. A few mornings a week they open it up to kids under 6 so they can play in it. There are sand toys, trucks and slides and the sand itself is lovely. It is a basically a giant, very clean sand pit. This week I met 2 other twin moms I know there and even though it was really busy because it was a holiday, all the kids had a good time. It wasn't quite the beach holiday that I need, but sandcastles in February in Seattle-I'll take it.
