Corn Maze Capers

Last week a woman made national news for calling 911 when she got lost in a corn maze. A lot of people made fun of her because you know, calling 911 from a corn maze, but I felt bad for her. First because she had a 3 week old baby and probably was delirious from lack of sleep and secondly because it sounds like something I might do. Baring that in mind, I decided to start small on the corn maze scale and headed for the kids one at Bob's corn. The kids had to follow the paths and then mark their fingers with colored face paints each time they hit a dead end. At first I didn't think that they would really get into it, but it was a huge hit. Whenever we came to a fork they say "this way, that way" then run off through the corn plants. They stuck together and made it through safe and sound.

We also took time took ride horses and ponies, take the cow train, ride the trike track and pick more pumpkins. We've really been enjoying our farm fun this fall.
