Zoo Boo

So Halloween is upon us and today we attended our first costume event. The Point Defiance zoo and aquarium hosted their annual Zoo Boo. As zoos go I like this zoo. It is in a pretty location on the edge of the sound and they have a lot of interesting exhibits and animals that we don't have at the Seattle zoo.

My friend Lindsey, and her identical twin girls (Morgan and Mackenzie) joined us for some fun. As we were going to be outside all day I decided to go with warmer, more practical costumes. Max was happy to be a fireman and Zoe wore her pirate costume from last year. She had to wear Max's trousers as it is so short now, but aside from that it was fine. M and M looked super cute as Halloween ballerinas.

We had a great day. The kids a blast playing together, running away! (3 time outs for that one) getting their faces painted and( the highlight) riding a camel. It was fun to see everyone dressed up and made me excited for all the Halloween fun that is to come.
